We are pleased to announce the Tsunami Ready Art Competition as part of the EU funded “Strengthening Capacities for Early Warning Response for Tsunamis and Other Coastal Hazards in the Caribbean” Project and as an activity contributing to the recognition of World Tsunami Awareness Day (WTAD) 2019.

We encourage all youth between the ages of 14-16 from the project’s participating countries (Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominican Republic, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago) to participate! Please see all relevant guidelines, instructions and links below.

Step 1:
Read the full competition guidelines document here. (Ensure you are eligible, choose one of the two themes provided, pay close attention to rules and requirements for artwork and note important deadlines).
Step 2: Choose and complete the registration form applicable to you from the links the below. Only the first 100 entrees per country will be accepted. Registration ends on November 20th, 2019 (extended deadline – not Nov 15th as stated in flyer).
Step 3:
Click and fill out and print confirmation form below. After printing, ensure that it is signed by your teacher, parent or guardian. This confirmation form must be submitted along with artwork submission at your National UNESCO Commission by January 10th, 2020 (extended deadline).
