Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate must possess a PhD from a recognized university, which should be in a
relevant aspect of Seismology, Geophysics or a closely related field.
Candidates should also possess:
- Observatory-type experience in the operation of modern digital seismological network the detection and assessment of regional earthquakes
- Competence in programming and software development, with expertise in at least two of the following areas:
o UNIX systems
