Research Interests: Since 2005 I've been doing research in Physical Volcanology with main focus on studying submarine volcanic landslide episodes at Kick'em Jenny volcano (Grenada), their dynamics and they induced effect on water surface i.e. tsunami. These studies are carried using numerical codes based on St-Venant equations taking into account a depth-averaged approximation (VolcFlow) and fully nonlinear and dispersive Boussinesq  wave propagation model (Geowave). This study was undergone mainly at the Seismic Research Centre. The main part of this study was part of my PhD thesis that I completed in December 2010 from the Université des Antilles et de la Guyane in Guadeloupe and one aspect of the study was published in the Bulletin of Volcanology journal (Dondin et al., 2012).
Starting November 2011, I have been at the SRC in order to develop a Tsunami Research Team with focus on landslide-generated tsunamis but also earthquake-generated tsunamis.
