For Students

  The UWI-SRC offers summer internships through its C.O.R.E. Internship (Creating Opportunity from Research Experience) programme.  The C.O.R.E. programme is committed to identifying future geoscientists and communications practitioners. This 8-week internship provides university level students the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience that will further enhance their career development. It is designed to give successful candidates a full understanding of how the UWI-SRC reaches its objectives through collaboration between scientific, technical and administrative staff.
 

C.O.R.E. Internship 2017
 
This year the UWI-SRC offers five internship positions under four different projects. Final year undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in the following disciplines are encouraged to apply:
 
Volcanology
Seismology
Electronics
Education & Outreach
Computer Science
 
Important Dates: 

April 30th, 2017 Application deadline
May 15th, 2017 Selected applicants will be notified
June – Aug, 2017 Internship period (specific dates vary by project)
