Seismograph Network

The name given to the system used by the Seismic Research Centre to monitor seismic activity in the Eastern Caribbean is the TRN Network. The entire TRN Network comprises over 50 seismic stations strategically positioned on islands throughout the Eastern Caribbean. The map below shows the regional monitoring networks as they currently exist.

There is full interchange of data with networks within the region e.g. IPGP (French Network), FUNVISIS (Venezuelan Network) etc. The Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO) also operates a network in the island of Montserrat.
